What we collect
When you email KZ COM about a project we receive what you send: usually your name, company, phone number, email address, the site location, the scope and timing of the work, and any drawings or other details you include. When you email to register your interest in working with KZ COM we receive your name, contact details, the areas of work you are interested in, the tickets and licences you tell us you hold, your availability, your experience and anything else you include. If you call or text, we receive your phone number and what you tell us.
Our website host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to operate and secure the site. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and plan and carry out work you engage us for. We don’t sell personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Career registrations
Career registration details are used only to consider you for work with KZ COM and to contact you about suitable roles. Please don’t send identity documents, tax file numbers or bank details. A résumé isn’t needed to register; if your experience suits a role we’ll ask for one. You can ask us to delete your registration at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed to do the work or meet legal obligations, for example with a principal contractor on your project, or with service providers who host this website and our email. Those providers may store data on servers outside Australia.
Security and retention
The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiries and career registrations are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and our record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by calling 0403 680 118 or emailing admin@kzcomm.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (opens in a new tab).
