KZ COM PTY LTD

Building the future. One project at a time.

KZ COM delivers civil construction and telecommunications infrastructure across external networks, building environments and active project sites. From underground services, pit-and-pipe and conduit pathways to MDU infrastructure, fibre works and reinstatement, our focus is practical construction, coordinated delivery and quality workmanship.

The company

Civil infrastructure. Telecommunications construction.

About KZ COM

Supporting the physical infrastructure behind modern networks, developments and connected buildings.

Civil construction, telecommunications infrastructure and vacuum excavation sit in one business. A single work package can run from locating and potholing, through excavation, pit-and-pipe, conduit and lead-ins, to building pathways and fibre installation, then reinstatement and as-built records.

Principal contractors, builders, developers and network delivery teams engage KZ COM for the complete sequence, or for a single discipline within a larger project.

  1. 01

    Civil construction

Excavation and trenching, pit-and-pipe, conduit and reinstatement in verges, footpaths, driveways and roads.

  2. 02

    Telecommunications infrastructure

Lead-ins, MDU and building pathways, pathway proving, fibre cable hauling, installation and jointing.

  3. 03

    Vacuum excavation

Non-destructive digging to locate and expose live services before machine excavation, and pit cleaning.

Civil excavation and conduit

Trenches opened through verges, yards and side passages, with conduit laid along the base, swept through bends and run into new pits.

Shallow trench along a narrow side passage between buildings, with white conduit turning the corner around a grassed area.
Open trench along a grassed verge beside a masonry block wall, with white conduit laid along its base and a shovel beside the run.
Service trench beside a brick house, with white conduit leading to a newly installed pit.

Telecommunications pits and cabling

Pits opened over existing conduits and cables, formwork built around existing cables, and cable bundles and a joint closure inside a pit.

Timber-braced formwork inside an excavated pit, with existing cables and a cable enclosure in place.

Reinstatement

Sealed surfaces saw-cut to a clean line before excavation, then reinstated in asphalt or concrete to match the surface around them.

Walk-behind floor saw cutting a straight line through a sealed surface, with water used to keep the dust down.

Capabilities

From construction to completion.

Site preparation, civil works, pathways, reinstatement and project records, delivered to the requirements of each work package.

All capabilities

01Pre-construction

Site survey & constructability

Existing services, site access, pathway constraints and building interfaces established before construction, with findings communicated to the principal and the designer.

04Building construction

MDU infrastructure & building pathways

External civil works, lead-ins, building entry and common-area pathways for apartment buildings, coordinated around residents, existing services and the other trades.

06Completion & handover

Reinstatement & project handover

Asphalt, concrete and surface reinstatement after excavation, with completion photographs and as-built records for handover.

Health, safety & quality

Built for real site conditions.

Existing services, restricted access, occupied properties and live construction environments demand careful planning and practical execution.

Health, Safety & Quality

01

Existing asset protection

Identification and protection of existing underground services are critical considerations before excavation and pathway construction.

02

Occupied and live environments

Access planning, work-area separation and communication with relevant site stakeholders support controlled construction activities.

03

Environmental and site management

Site housekeeping, spoil handling, appropriate waste management and progressive reinstatement help minimise disruption during civil works.

04

Construction quality

Construction to the issued design and agreed scope, supported by relevant inspection, photographic and as-built records.
